A Food Bank is a non-profit organization with the capacity and know-how to transport large amounts of food to the food shelves and distribution centers. Food Banks are the direct service or distribution of food and work directly with people who need the resources.
Minnesota Food Shelves reported 5.5 million visits in 2022, a dramatic increase from 2021. Today, more Minnesotans are living paycheck to paycheck and seeking resources to ease the rising costs of inflation. Lines continue to form and Community Cares MN needs more funding to ensure the deliveries that support senior centers, families and children suffering from food insecurities. Please consider a donation today.
